Valuation Observatory
Since 2015, the AEV has been periodically drafting the Valuation Observatory, a study whose purpose is to record the open debate between members of the AEV and a group of experts linked to various areas of the real estate world regarding subjects related to the situation of the sector. It seeks to inform the market and society about the evolution of not only the real estate activity but also prices, as well as provide information about the underlying causes of that evolution.
Each Observatory is based on an economic analysis of the residential building sector drafted by Paloma Taltavull, Full Professor of Economics of the University of Alicante. The analysis includes a medium-term prediction of average prices in the sector, in addition to the opinions of members and a group of external experts (renowned educators, members of associations and independent professionals) regarding matters related to evolution of the market.
